With sustainability at the heart of what we do, we present our lower CO₂ sparkling rose! Bold in Kentish hedgerow fruits but off dry on the palette, reminiscent of an Italian frizzante.
Tasting notes – An initial punch of crisp red apples is subdued by a pithy, marmalade and grapefruit bitterness. The wine has a soft, round mouthfeel, with fine, moosey bubbles. It most certainly sits in the fresh and fruity spectrum. However, it’s an excellent food wine due to its refreshing bitterness which will cut through rich and fatty dishes.
Production – The grapes were pressed right at the start of the winemaking process, separating the juice from the skins. The juice is fermented into the base wine, and subsequently bottled. Triage, disgorgement, and dosage all followed, thus making the wine very similar to that of a classic method style.
